Applying for NINCard

Any individual who possesses a valid National Identification Number (NIN) issued by the National Identity Management Commission (NIMC) is eligible to apply for NINCard. This includes both citizens and residents of Nigeria.

NINCard provides two main options: the laminated card, which is an improved version of the standard NIN, and the plastic card, designed for use as a durable, long-lasting form of identification.

To apply for NINCard, simply visit a NINCard Operator/REP or our platform, complete the application form, and or provide the required information. Follow the steps provided by NINCard Operator/REP or the outlined steps on our website for a hassle-free application process.

The cost of NINCard varies depending on the type selected:

  • Inside 🇳🇬 NG: Apply & Print Card
    • Plastic NINCard: ₦3500
    • Laminated NINCard: ₦2000
  • Inside 🇳🇬 NG: Print Card Only

After production, your NINCard will be securely packaged and delivered to your chosen NINCard Operator (for application inside Nigeria & Nigeria Embassy for application outside Nigeria) or via the home address provided during the application process. No, you can't update your personal information after submitting your application simply because we print what you submit. You have to go through NIMC to update any information and make the necessary changes. Please ensure that all information is accurate and up-to-date to avoid any delays in processing your NINCard.
